A Day of Volunteering at Gleaners Food Bank

When it comes to giving back to our community, the team at Royal United Mortgage LLC knows how to deliver. Over 20 of our Indianapolis team members volunteered their time at Gleaners Food Bank to stuff weekend back-sacks for children in local area schools, supply produce for shelters, and help with general maintenance in their facility. Working alongside another Indianapolis company, our team was able to set a Gleaners record of filling 2642 back-sacks in a 3 hour shift!

“I’d heard of Gleaners prior to my experience there, but I didn’t realize all the good they did for the community and how much people rely upon them. Knowing I was making lunches for kids that otherwise wouldn’t have a decent meal to eat, especially as a mother myself, made me work that much harder to get as many done as I could.
