Person I admire most is and why? I admire my father more than any other person that I know. He instilled in me from an early age the importance of hard work and determination. When he was 15 years old, he took over the family farm after the death of his father. He managed to keep the farm running, complete his high school degree, and support his mother and 2 sisters. He then sold the farm and went to work at a factory near my hometown, turning an entry-level assembly position into his current management role after 20 years of service. I studied his work ethic and determination while I was growing up, and owe him much for instilling that same attitude in me.

Interesting Fact about me: During my senior year in college, I was selected for a month-long study trip to China. I represented Vera Bradley, and created a marketing plan to explore the company expanding its offerings to China, specifically Beijing and Shanghai. My group also helped re-brand the Vera Bradley logo, and developed an alternate logo for them to use in China.

What I love about coming to work? Seeing the steps that are taken to continually grow and evolve our process, and our brand. It is refreshing to be part of an organization that is not content to be good, but is always finding new ways to adapt.
