Employees Volunteer at Indianapolis Boys & Girls Club Valentine’s Day Event
The Royal United Mortgage LLC Indianapolis team members spent an evening giving back to the Central Indiana community. Over 10 employees volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club Valentine’s Day event. This was a special way to give back to the community and spend time with local youth. This event was designed so that the children could participate in groups and enjoy alternative after school programming.
The Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis is designed to provide a safe, educational, and positive atmosphere where our youth can prosper and reach their full potential. This means giving them a safe after school space to finish their homework, allow them to play together, giving them a gym to practice in, and giving a free meal and snack five days a week. Clubs have been open in Indianapolis since 1893, and have helped thousands of children.
Now, nearly 124 years later, the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis has five metro Indianapolis locations. The new Finish Line location at Post Road is the newest club in Indianapolis and their nice gym was the perfect venue for this Valentine’s Day event. Here, the children had the opportunity to create Valentine’s Day Cards, have their pictures taken, and even participate in a dance contest!
The Royal United Mortgage LLC staff volunteers did a great job organizing and running the event. Sponsoring such a beneficial club in the community is rewarding for everyone. It was a great evening, and the kids felt the love this Valentine’s Day!
