Getting a Home Loan can be Sooo Boring!
Quite a title, yes? But please don’t misunderstand what we’re saying; the reason you need a loan – a new home, 2nd home, remodeling, repair, college or a skillion other reasons – is never boring. Depending on why you are calling us, it’s natural to feel edgy, concerned, apprehensive, excited and even emotional.
It’s the actual process of getting a loan through us that we try to make a real snoozer. With all of the other speed bumps you have in your life the last thing you need is for your mortgage company to unnecessarily complicate things. At Royal United Mortgage LLC we want things to go smoothly for you, with minimal intrusion and completed as quickly as possible. We want you to be like Clara from Illinois who, after we refinanced her home, said, “That’s it? That’s all there was to it? After originally dealing with my bank I thought I’d have to suffer more!”
Sorry to disappoint you Clara.
If you prefer an arduous, complicated and lengthy process in securing your loan I would recommend you visit one of our competitors. Some are highly trained in obfuscation, rudeness and avoiding any personal concern for their customer. But you will definitely feel like you earned your loan if you do manage to eventually get one.
On the other hand, dealing with us is usually unexciting and uneventful. We only ask for the information we absolutely have to have by law; we make ourselves available throughout the short process to answer any questions – though truth be told we try to call you first with updates so you don’t have any; we never make promises we can’t keep; and all of our Loan Advisors are professional and genuinely nice people.
See what I mean? Boring. But a lot of folks seem to like that equable and easygoing way of doing business so I guess we’ll stick with it.
So if you are a financial adrenaline junkie who prefers unpredictability and a little chaos in your dealings then we are not the right company for you. On the other hand, if you like still waters and smooth sailing you probably should give us a call.
