Go Forth After the Fourth
The long July 4th weekend is over. Most of us ooh’d and aah’d at the fireworks until we were hoarse, ate too much, sunned too long and partied too hard. It was a great time!
But now it’s time for the aftermath party: cleaning the house, scouring the grill, picking up remnants of bottle rockets the neighbor kids shot into your yard and coaxing Fido and Kitty out from wherever they’ve been hiding since the first boom sounded.
It’s also time to do an assessment of your homestead, goals and financial future. While the early July heat may make it difficult to imagine, the remaining summer days will pass quickly. School is going to be starting soon, cool weather will follow close behind and we all know happens after that.
