Studying for the NMLS Federal SAFE Exam

The NMLS Federal SAFE Exam is a licensing exam that every aspiring loan advisor must take and pass in order to service clients’ needs. Royal United Mortgage LLC provides new employees a two-week paid training to help them study and prepare for the NMLS Federal SAFE Exam. The two-week training session is very intense and there were times when I was afraid that I wouldn’t pass the test, no matter how hard I studied. However, the training that I received was amazing and made me feel confident that, even without prior mortgage experience, I would still be successful. Our training instructor was very knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. He challenged me to learn the material but also reassured me when I needed it. He answered every question that I had…and believe me there were a lot! One of the best pieces of advice he gave me was just to breathe and relax to calm my nerves and not be overwhelmed.

What I have enjoyed most about my time with Royal United Mortgage LLC so far is the amount of knowledge I have learned in such a short amount of time. Over the past few years, finance has been something I really have gravitated towards. Learning about all of the options we have to help people is very exciting.  All in all, I am very proud to be a part of the Royal United Mortgage LLC family and I come in each day excited and happy to be here.
