Thanksgiving Thoughts

Ah, Thanksgiving. A time when we Americans gather to eat much, laugh loudly, reflect quietly, exercise little, and nap frequently.  Conversation topics normally focus on the feast, family, friends, football and the weather forecast…and maybe a little random gossip.

This day is not set aside for situational ponderings or making plans to improve your financial future; it’s a day to appreciate all that you do have whether it be familial, material or one of your many wonderful memories of times past.

The most serious things you should worry yourself about on “carb day” is what you’ll find in the next room after you heard the wee kids whispering, “I didn’t break it…you did!” or when you’ll be able to reoccupy the TV room that was vacated shortly after Uncle Bob started emitting strange noises while slumbering on the recliner.

So on behalf of the Royal United Mortgage LLC family I would like to wish you and your loved ones the happiest of holidays. Savor the moment and make a sincere effort to leave all the stress and concerns of daily living locked away for at least one day.
