Every person in the Royal United Mortgage LLC family had to pass an important biology test before they became a full-fledged member. They were allowed to use reference guides, calculators, pen and paper, fingers and toes, or any other study aid they needed.
What was the test? To identify how many ears and mouths they had.
Purpose? To stress the difference.
You see, our philosophy is that we have two ears and only one mouth because we should listen twice as much as we talk. When working with a customer it’s not important for them to hear our story…it’s important to hear theirs. It’s not important to tell them about all of the other people we helped and how we did it…it’s only important that we inform them how we can help them.

You’ll find them to be considerate of your time and fully aware that they can’t offer you any solutions with their one mouth until they have listened with their two ears.
